I know. And Ni is more of the same abbrev. Nippon, Nissan, Nissei, etc.
In general I associate the regexp ^ni.* with things Japanese.

BTW, I think there is already a `nemacs'. Ncube makes a fast hypercube
type machine with a bizarre bastardized UNIX.
