Is this just }an oversight. As mentioned in the manual entry for pgmtopbm, any PGM program can read PBM files without explicit conversion. Likewise, any PPM program can read PGM and PBM files. I sure hope this isn't an indication that comp.graphics is about to be flooded with silly questions about PBM. Informed discussion, on the other hand, could be interesting. For instance, I'd be interested in any comparisons between PBM and some of the other systems listed in the OTHER.SYSTEMS file.
