I was wondering if there is a way to translate the following in Assemble
       SET CHARMODE ON

using LINEWRT or DIAG 58?
And another problem, how can I close the console input buffer before pressing
any functional key such as ENTER, PF, PA or CLEAR
We've got 3179 color terminals and we are running VM/SP Release.5
