PC Week (9/4/89) said that "the next version of the Turbo C compiler will incorporate [...] C++", that OS/2 development has been put on hold due to lack of market demand for an OS/2 product, and that the next version of Turbo C is due out in 1990, though Borland may decide to ship a partial implementation of C++ 2.0 to get the product to market faster.
