1. Two papers have been published:
   a) N.Wirth, From Modula to Oberon, Software - Practice and Experience,
      Vol. 18 (7), pp. 661-670 (July 1988)
   b) N.Wirth, The Programming Language Oberon, Software - Practice and
      Experience, Vol 18 (7), pp. 671-690 (July 1988)

   To get 'Software - Practice and Experience' write to:
      Springer-Verlag New York Inc., 175 Fifth Ave., NY, NY 10010

2. The forth edition has indeed been published in July 1988 by Springer
   Verlag.
