Lines: 36 Greetings, I realize this is probably the 2nd most asked question (after where to get the tools) but I've never seen the answer... I recently dusted (and I do mean dusted) off our VLSI86 tape and loaded it up. What I'd like to know is: 1) Are there patches, upgrades, etc... since the tape was released? 2) Where can I get them. (FTP or low/no cost tape copy preferred {i.e. I'm willing to mail a blank tape with return postage}) I am specifically interested in getting the tools up to speed to work with Sun4/60s, Sun3/80s & Sun3/60s (in decreasing order of interest). Anything that enables one to use bigger machines (ZYCAD, Convex,...) for simulation, DRC, etc... would also be welcome. I'm not opposed to a bit of hacking, but I don't have much time to devote to this effort. Information on other _PD-like_ tools would be appreciated. I haven't done any of this design stuff since the days of CAESAR. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree altogether. I'll summarize any responses for the group. Thanks, Craig ----------------- Craig F.
