Anybody out there had any success connecting third-party SCSI devices
to NeXT machines that also have internal NeXT (Maxtor) hard disks?

I am currently trying to connect a Helios SCSIBOX with 2 WREN VI drives
to a cube with an internal 330MB.  I'm having trouble getting the cube
to recognize the Helios on the SCSI bus.  Every time I connect the Helios
to the NeXT, the internal Maxtor goes out to lunch.  I have the
Helios drives configured for LUN 1 & 2.

I also have an Exabyte helical tape unit to connect up--anybody with any
horror stories about SCSI tape drives??

Any SCSI gurus out there that can help??
