Subject: Experiences w/Remote Logins ?

Currently we have a building wide appletalk network in place with several star
controllers and bridges, we are considering dedicating a phone line for a modem
which could be used as a shared resource across the network and also as a means
for users to access the network from their homes.  Does anyone have experience
with these devices ?  Any recommendations ?
