It is called the "Athena Palladium Print System". We are now running version 1 at Athena and will be cutting a distribution tape for preliminary (alpha) release shortly. Version 2 which follows exactly with the ECMA standard and contains features left out of version 1 should be completed by early next year. There are two documents that you may want to read - one is an overview (11 pages) and the second is the design documents (120 pages). These will soon be available by anonymous FTP and archive mail. I will send another message when it is in place (should be there in a few days). If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them but if they can wait till you read the documents that would be great. - Ilham Ahmed System Programmer Project Athena, MIT. ilham@athena.mit.edu
