As I am a BITNET user a BITNET listserv would be most helpful. I am looking at establishing a TCP/IP net with IBMs MVS TCP/IP. It will talk to a hand full of PS/2s and PC/ATs. Some of these PS/2s and ATs will also need to be connected to a Novell network. I would like to FTP files to/from the MVS host to the Novell file server directly. In one case the Novell server is on the same Ether connection as the TCP/IP net. In another the AT will be connected to TCP/IP using ether and to Novell using ARCNET. The first questions I have is what cards and software are known to work in this environment? Sources? If you have tried this how well did it work? Am I off in left field somewhere with this idea? Any help or questions should be directed to me and will be greatly appreciated.
