It covers one person's insights on a variety of topics related to software development: getting and keeping the people you want and need; dealing with customers, user groups, distributors, dealers, the press, and the competition; marketing; support; and so on. His constant theme is two fold: Doing the Right Thing, and Doing Things Right. It's also a lot of fun. He liberally tosses compliments and barbs at various entities and individuals in the computer industry, some well known, and some obscure. While the book is heavily oriented toward the Macintosh culture and what Kawasaki calls "Macintosh Way companies", there are gems here that anyone in the computer industry can benefit from. Joe Bob says "Check it out!"... -Brent -- Brent Chapman Capital Market Technology, Inc.
