If I do a ParAddress(1), :then write, why do I need to send a '1' as the first parameter (which is what :parman does?) Each host has an address. When you send a packet only the receiving host is allowed to receive it. The sender aquires the line and the receiver sees it is being addressed and fullfills the other half of the protocol.
