Since the A1000 and A590 both have connectors located on the their right sides, one could set the 590 on top of the 1000 and make a short jumper out of ribbon cable with a twist in it. 86-pin edge connector on one end, 86-pin edge (maybe cut from a prototyping card of any size >= 86pins) on the other.
