I, personally, would pay the extra grand for SunOS -- a combination of System V and 4.3BSD. I've worked with IBM's AIX for their '386 PS/2, and I've seen other versions of '386 Unix. In most cases, they don't come close to the feel of SunOS. And if you think VGA is sufficient for running X-Windows, think again.
