This is **NOT** true at all. I have gone though 3 generations of Tos 1.4
releases (developers disk based Tos 1.4, the ~feb eprom one, and now
the real one) without re-formatting anything. heck one of the drives
i am still using was formatted pre-mega-tos, and still has'nt given me a
single problem.
