Make sure you are not coming from Version 5 on the IBM side.  I have been
able to use Wordperfect 4.0 across VAX, IBM and Atari, as long as they are
version 4.   There are some differences however,  the VAX version 4 does
not have italics, but it doenst complain about it.  It converts it
to underline.
