I am looking for information on the Toshiba T1000 portable computer.
My brother has an oppurtunity to buy one at a very good price and has
asked for my advice on whether or not to buy it.  I know little about
PC compatibles or the T1000.

The machine has 512K and runs MSDOS 2.11/R2A.

I need to know if the machines are reliable and whether there are any
known problems that will prevent him from using the usual software
packages such as word processors, terminal emulators, spreadsheets,
compilers, etc.
