I have had some problems with the controllers but Perstor and especiallyTED BUCK their support engineer have been really eager to help and correct the problems. The only problems I have experienced recently is that occasionally when a file is being read, the drive will buzz momentarily and then proceed. I believe this has something to do with the error detection and correction circuitry on the perstor board. For the most part, it does its job. The 3085 when formatted using the perstor board has nearly 130 MB. Other things: Spinrite does not work very well. The version of Speedstor that I have does do low level or single track and sector formatting with the perstor board. These problems may be corrected with current versions of the board and the software. Regards Allen Gordon
