The correct side is marked on the wrapping of the ream of paper. On hammerhill paper for example, there is an arrow pointing to one side, it is labeled "copy or print this side first". It is very difficult to tell which is the correct looking at the paper, so if you already have it out of the ream, try both sides and see which looks better -Rudi Halbright rh1m@andrew.cmu.edu
