So I get errors like 'that is not disk X you dimwit' when in fact it damn well is disk X. I checked. (living on the edge, these are original orginals:) This happens on both drives and (so far) on 360 and 720k style disks. Updating of floppy directories (all 4 types of disks) does not seem to be a problem otherwise. Several friends have indicated that this is a known problem with an easy solution. Only no one is sure what that solution is:) system: 16MHz AT with A:1.2 M, B:1.44 M and 1 M on the mboard. No clever stuff in the config or groovey caching (other than fastopen and buffers of course) and the AMI CMOS seems correct. -- I nailed ducks to the wall B.
