Keywords: C, VGA, Microsoft, Video7 FastWrite Message-ID: <3043@arisia.Xerox.COM> Date: 15 Sep 89 23:42:00 GMT Reply-To: minneman.pa@xerox.com (Scott Minneman) Organization: Xerox Palo Alto Research Center Lines: 17 I'm trying to find C or assembly language sources (or a robust library with Microsoft C calling conventions) for some simple graphics routines that can drive a Video7 Fastwrite VGA card in 640 X 480, 256 color mode. I need to be able to do the simple operations that the Microsoft C graphics library performs, but using more than the 16 colors that they support in 640 X 480 mode. Specifically, I need block reads and writes, lines, points, and setting up a custom palatte. Can anyone point me to anything (PD or otherwise) that seems to fit the bill? I have Halo 88, but it is really too much for what I need to do here. I really just want a replacement for the Microsoft graphics routines that have a little more flexibility about modes. Thanks in advance, Scott Minneman minneman.pa@xerox.com
