Message-ID: <14471@netnews.upenn.edu> Date: 16 Sep 89 17:28:58 GMT Sender: news@netnews.upenn.edu Reply-To: ferris@eniac.seas.upenn.edu.UUCP (Richard Ferris) Organization: University of Pennsylvania Lines: 17 I have been trying out a new comm package called Telemate but I have been having some troubles with downloading using MSKermit V 2.31. Kermit is not built into Telemate but must be called as an external program. My problem is that if I abort a file during a download the Telemate terminal freezes once MSKermit finishes and I reenter Telemate. I would like to send a ctrl-c to the mainframe from which I am downloading but I can't seem to send anything. It won't hang up using alt-h, I can't send local commands to the modem, etc. It is only the terminal window itself that has this problem. I can still shell out, exit, use other telemate windows, etc. but I can't send any signals out in the terminal window. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks. Richard T.
