Crumley) writes: > PTF 1751 definately has a bug that causes problems for all remote file Speaking of 1700-level updates that *cause* problems, has anyone installed one of the 1700's and then found that programs that do a select() on the the maximum # of file descriptors (200 from getdtablesize) that the kernel starts *opening* file descriptors up to the maximum configured and then goes nuts with "File table overflow" ?? I've seen this twice now but have not been able to narrow down the 1700-level fix that introduces this bug (Base AIX 2.2.1 works fine in this regard).
