In it they have a calendar of BCS Meetings related to the Mac. This one -- referring to the general BCS meeting (i.e., the BIG meeting) -- caught my eye: ******************************* WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 27 BCS GENERAL MEETING "A new product introduction by Apple". In January 1984, Steve Jobs publicly unveiled the Macintosh computer to members attending the BCS General Meeting at Boston's John Hancock Hall. In September 1989, BCS*Mac proudly presents the first public showing of an exciting new development from Apple at the same historic location. Representatives from Apple's Cupertino headquarters will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate this milestone product. Watch your mail for more details. The meeting is sponsored by The BCS, the world's largest user group. ******************************** Does anyone have any guesses what this might be? I can't imagine that it's the Portable/IIci rollout, since this is supposedly a "first show". But maybe it is. Any ideas?
