I have built MicroEmacs 3.9 on our MacIIx which is running A/UX 1.1. It (uEmacs) operates correctly on the Mac's console. Now since the Mac is a shared resource, we have it connected into our ethernet network of Sun workstations. What I want to be able to do is open a window on my Sun, rlogin to the Mac, and then fire up uEmacs. I can (in part) actually do this. The problem lies (I believe) with the A/UX termcap entry for a Sun window. The uEmacs screen display behaves very strangely: stuff gets left on the screen when I page up or down, and on some occasions reverse video (from the status line) remains turned on when scrolling up. I've tried changing the supplied A/UX termcap entry to match that on our Suns, and also sticking in 50 millisecond delays for most terminal characteristics. Neither seems to help much, except possibly for the reverse video problem - ie it hasn't happened again recently. Can anyone suggest a solution, or barring that, where I might go for additional help?
