Nroff, Troff, and their related processors TBL, etc. were "unbundled" from UNIX with System V release 1. It's an extra cost item now... However, even the DWB kit from AT&T doesn't support modern laser printers. Laser support is offered primarily by third party vendors, whom we are one.
