Hello,
 
I am trying to set up a working version of METAFONT on our sun 3 running
BSD 4.2 unix. I ftp'd web2c.shar and web2c_base.tar.Z from sun.soe.clarkson.
I noticed upon unscrambling the two that the web2c_base has the same change
file but has fewer files than web2c.shar. Could anybody tell me what the 
difference is? Also, does anybody have detailed instructions as to how to
go about building MF, including what files to ftp from where, etc.
