 The version of the resolver library DEC supplies only seems to find one
instance of a multi-interfaced host (eg one on two subnets); xhost at
least exhibits this behavior. Since we have a number of such machines,
I'd like to recompile xhost with the 4.3 BSD resolver routines. But I
can't seem to generate a version that doesn't wind up waiting
more-or-less forever deep down in the guts of select(). Anyone have
any ideas?
