The problem I'm going to describe also occurred under UWS2.0A. Sometimes when I move the mouse, the system starts generating errors of the following kind: ----- EVENT INFORMATION ----- EVENT CLASS OPERATIONAL EVENT OS EVENT TYPE 250. ASCII MSG SEQUENCE NUMBER 28. OPERATING SYSTEM ULTRIX 32 OCCURRED/LOGGED ON Tue Sep 12 14:30:59 1989 MET DST OCCURRED ON SYSTEM squirrel SYSTEM ID x0A000004 MICROCODE REV = 4. SYSTYPE REG. x04010002 FIRMWARE REV = 1. PROCESSOR TYPE KA420 MESSAGE sm0: smkint: keyboard error, code = b6 These errors are generated that fast, that they overflow the errlog buffer, which causes the message ERRLOG BUFFER FULL, 1 ERROR(S) MISSED to appear on the console. I have also noticed that, on moments like these, the keyboard audible bell doesn't sound anymore. Can anyone tell me what the above error means? Especially the line "sm0: smkint: keyboard error, code = b6" should mean something to someone. Any pointers are appreciated.
