Subject: decnet from ultrix to vms (problem)

I find that when I decnet from ultix to vms I cann't set the terminal 
type to a foreign terminal (it works fine through a lat terminal) while
I can change it dec terminals such as vt100 and vt52, any suggestions.
We are running VMS version 4 and ultrix version 2.
