I have a friend who is having a strange problem with files
vanishing.  They updated from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3 using update-K.
They were told (by a software vendor) that this was probably
because update-K didn't work right.

This makes no sense to me.  I have made the same update with
no problems.  The only difference is that they are on a PS/2.

Anyone else know about such a "feature".
