The new flat screen monitor needs memory allocated for a mono plane, enable plane, and regular pixel array. The lengths of the planes need to be 128*1024. These lengths have to be added in on the memory map as well. A much simpler hint is: look at ...../X11R3/server/ddx/sun/sunCG4C.c. void gnus::signature();
