Short and Sweet Installation Question:

Following some hints given on the news net, I've been able to install
GCC 1.35 on an HP 360 running HP-UX 6.5 .  However, I was disappointed
to find that the Make file (and system specific .h) force
compilation without access to the debug information.  Am I crazy or
has -g been specifically left out for some reason?  I'd sure like
to use GDB for code development, then tack on GC++ and work
similarly.  What's going on?
