The latest version of GNU ld does not compile on the Sequent Symmetry
(it complains about NMAGIC, N_TXTADDR, and N_DATADDR being undefined).
This causes problems for the latest version of g++, since it now
uses the GNU ld by default.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem and get GNU ld running on the
Symmetry I'd be happy to mail you the latest ld.c file from the beta
g++ distribution.
