It is my impression from reading the NEWS ADD FILE documentation that this is one of the expected procedures, can anyone verify this? I have been playing a little bit more on my system and have found that it appears that VMS Mail headers after the first Form Feed character are lost. Additional mail headers (such as those created with an MAIL> EXTRACT/ALL) are seen. If I take and hand manipulate the file to remove the initial Form Feed character then NEWS properly handles the first mail message, messes up the second message (the one following the *new* first form feed) and processes the remaining messages correctly. -- Seton Droppers -- "Anything that I say is my opinion and not my employer's."
