No, this is NOT the thing to do. They are USING old software and in 99.9% of the cases they have nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with it. We have about 15,000 users here, and there is only about 5 people here who could update it, and only one, myself, who knows anything about it. (nn) If you are going to write anybody, then write the systems administrator or at least someone who can actually do something about it.
