If possible, would like to keep the total cost of the project below $500. I'm not too worried about building a precision attenuator and AGC circuit to regulate the output over the frequency band, but need help on the syokt{ synthesizer part of the project. Right now I have an ancient HP608D and can't afford a fancy new HP generator!
