I need some information on a Toshiba part, a TA7205AP 6W audio power amp.
It has an alleged gain of 55 dB, but I am not getting anything like that
out of it after building a couple example configurations around it.

Oh, and yes, it is the same beastie sold at Rat Shack, but their example
application circuits are not correct.  Not much help.
