The possible fact I mentioned is that floppy disk drives in France have a window which extends from the center to the corner, rather than the center to the side (as in the rest of the world). I heard this several years ago, so the drives in question must be from the era of 8" and 5 1/4" technology (though not necessarily either size). Can anybody out in netland confirm or refute the truth of this?
