In cleaning up after the September text rush, I've discovered a box of
freebie promotional magazines from Springer-Verlag (originally destined
to be given away at a trade show a couple of years ago).  I'm on the verge
of -- * gasp * -- throwing them out, but I thought I'd try giving them away
again.

If you're interested, just drop by the computer book desk on the ground
floor between 10 & 6 weekdays, and pick up what you like.  If you want
to call to make sure there are still some here, the number's 978-7925.
I'm not anticipating any rush....  I'll dispose of the leftovers at the
end of September.  (Are journals recyclable?)

There are 3 journals, one issue of each, and I've got about 30 copies of
each.
	
   *	ABACUS: The Magazine for the Computer Professional
	Volume 5, Number 1    Fall 1987
   	Articles on True BASIC, Expert Systems ("They make mistakes,
	but so do humans..."), etc.

   *	Computers in Mechanical Engineering
	July-August 1987
	Accounting in the Information Age, Thermofluid Design,
	Foundry Productivity, etc.

   *    Discrete & Computational Geometry
	Volume 2 Number 2 1987
	Special Issue:  ACM Symposium on Computational Geometry, 
	Yorktown Heights

You could cut them up for projects...  or make a mobile.

	PS:  This looks like a blatant attempt to get people
	     to come to the Bookstore, but I've only posted this
	     to ut.general...  After September, do I _want_ more
	     people in the store?  :-}
