I'm involved in a port of SysVr1 UNIX and have so far found one such instance in the source for "cat". I'm presently hunting for a pointer problem in the Bourne shell and got to wondering if it could be a similar situation but masked by much more complicated code. Does anyone have a list of, or know of, code in any SysVr1 utility which wants to dereference NULL? Thanks in advance. Please send mail, I'll summarize if there is interest. -- Scott Hammond, R & D Associates, Marina del Rey, CA (213) 822-1715 : {ladcgw,tah386,}!rdahp!scott : scott@harris.cis.ksu.edu
