I have made some progress since I broadcasted the previous message.
I found around 100 articles recorded in a UMI/ABI INFORM business compact
disc in our library. A listing is dumped onto a floppy but it amounts to
over 100K. If anyone needs any specific information or a reduced listing
(with just bibliographic information but no abstract) please contact me.
The disc spans publications between July 1984 to June 1989.

The keyword I used for the search is: 
	(EXPERT SYSTEM) AND (INSURANCE OR REINSURANCE).
