	I did a lot of work on IBM series 1's with the event driven
 	executive operating system...programmed in Event Driven Language.

	EDL (sorta a MACRO assembler) had opcode parameter naming ie

	move	#1,1,p2=lable1

	this would move to index reg #1 the immediate value 1, with lable1
	being the address of the immediate in the opcode. all of the instructions
	had this 'feature'.  Actually, the S/1 was not all that bad. any one 
	else have any experience?
