I have two programs I wrote back in '85 called XTRN (Xmodem Transmit) and XRCV (Xmodem Receive) for VMS. They are written in VAX C (quiet in the peanut gallery!) and are rather on the minimalist side, but then, Xmodem is a rather minimalist protocol. XTRN will do text mode translation (EOL -> CR/LF, CR/LF ->EOL), if desired, and XRCV can be told to create any of several file types: text (variable record length, CRLF), stream-LF, 512 byte fixed record length, and Intel binary (variable record length, 510 byte max record length - this is the format used by Intel's IAPX86 cross-support tools for VAX/VMS). I would post them, but where? regards, Larry -- Signed: Larry A.
