Yeah, I had some problems calling long distance with my modem...same type of
symptoms, I can hear the other modem answer,and then I hear my modem send the
higher pitched frequency,and I too, hang in limbo waiting for a
miracle...What do you think the problem is???? It really pisses my off when I
get a $50.00 phone bill and I didn't get any use out of IT!!!
