We've recently noticed that compiling to files on Aufs volumes from
Allegro Common Lisp doesn't work (the files fail to read back).
Further investigation reveals that the problem is an extra 512 byte
block of zeros inserted in the file at position 513 (after the first
block).  Text files read and write OK.  Do any Aufs or Lisp experts
out there have a clue?
