I'm looking for database of any sort that could be accessed through the
Internet. I'm particulary interested in those databases with an
encyclopaedic nature which provide general information.

I would also like to have the Internet address of any library that
has an online catalog.

Information and pointers will be highly appreciated. Please mail me
directly since I am not a frequent user of usenet.
