I baught Minix for my 12Mhz Packard Bell 286, but it won't boot. I get an error reading the disk. I assume this is due to one of two reasons: either my packard bell is not IBM compatible enough, or the boot code in Minix doesn't know about 1.2m floppy drives. Anyway, I would very much like to hack on this so if anyone has done this, or knows how I could go about getting this puppy to boot, please send me e-mail. Thank you. -------------------------- John E. Schimmel | | jschimmel@ucsd.edu | schimmel@cogsci.ucsd.edu | jes@loral.cts.com |
