Hi folks:

	I'm searching (and have been for a while) for a good article that
traces the growth in CPU processing speeds -- something to back up those
rules of thumb that say processing speed doubles every two years, or
whatever.  Anyone know of a good study, over the interval, say, 1980
to the present?
