I've been trying to write a spooler for an AppleTalk network. I've been having a problem trying to respond to a workstation's PostScript fontlist queries. When I get a fontlist query, I respond with a list of fonts followed by a single "*" alone on the last line, but the workstation just sits there waiting for the proper response, which never seems to come. I've tried traping the response I get from a LaserWriter, and using that as a responce to a query, but that doesn't work. The only thing I've tried that does work, though it is not acceptable, is sending back an empty fontlist; just a single "*" on a line by itself. Does anyone know of something that I might be forgetting to do that might help to get this thing working. Thanks Jim ........................ -- Michael A.
